Hello! I’m a handsome painter currently located in Bloomington, Indiana. I’m here on a detour of life, and I’d like to figure out whether or not I have a midwestern spirit. My roommate, Sue, does not. She is a shih tzu. She’s always had very eastern sensibilities. I appreciate that about her.
My work is largely inspired by the patterns, cycles, and visual rhythms found in nature. In 2023 I wrote in my journal “The world is made up of cycles, which I’ll have to learn over and over again.” This is a fundamental quality of life that I aim to express in my work.
